New Mexico High School Basketball - Taos nudges Moriarty

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), observed Taos's basketball team edge Moriarty by a score of 35-29.
The Tigers (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers come into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 3-16 record. In their last challenge, Los Alamos was tipped by Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 52-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pintos encounter the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Moriarty will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Elks/Elkettes come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 33-31 non-league loss to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM).
