Maine High School Basketball - Narraguagus nips Sumner

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Narraguagus Knights basketball team scored a close 63-59 triumph over the Sumner Tigers.
The Knights (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Jonesport-Beals (Jonesport, ME). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Jonesport-Beals was tipped by Calais (Calais, ME), 39-24, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) in a C North contest, on Thursday, January 30. Sumner will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Lynx go into the contest with a 14-1 record after their 73-23 league win over Bucksport (Bucksport, ME).
