In Tuesday's league contest, the host St. Ansgar Saints basketball team scored a good 50-41 triumph over the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies.

The Saints (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Fork (Sheffield, IA). The Warhawks go into the Corn Bowl contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, West Fork topped Central Springs (Manly, IA), 61-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Green Devils go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 57-22 non-league win over North Butler (Greene, IA).
