North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Guilford holds off Northeast Guilford

January 28, 2025: McLeansville, NC 27301

The Southern Guilford Storm basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Northeast Guilford Rams to 45 in the Storm league triumph on Tuesday.

The Storm now have a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Atkins for a 3A Mid-State game on Friday, January 31. Southern Guilford will confront a Camels team coming off a 54-12 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Camels record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Northeast Guilford falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Cummings (Burlington, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 4-8. Cummings won 50-24 in their recent league game against Graham (Graham, NC)
