The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) and the visiting Powell Panthers (Powell, TN), observed Oak Ridge's basketball team overwhelm Powell by a score of 51-26.
The Wildcats (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Cougars come into the 4A District 3 challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Campbell County trounced Halls (Knoxville, TN), 59-29, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Knoxville Central Bobcats (Knoxville, TN) in a 4A District 3 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Powell will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record.
