The Wapsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Oelwein Huskies to 57 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Crestwood for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Wapsie Valley will confront a Cadets team coming off a 61-53 non-league win over Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Oelwein falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA) to confront the Wolverines in a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Friday, January 31. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 7-12. Dike-New Hartford lost 47-33 in their recent non-league game against Roland-Story (Story City, IA)
