Next, the Lions clash with the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 test, on Friday, January 31. Ponder will attempt to upgrade on its 25-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 16-12 record after their 77-30 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX).

The Panthers (20-10) will now prepare for their test against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Pilot Point overcame Valley View (Valley View, TX), 34-28, in a league test.
