Nevada High School Basketball - Yerington holds off Pershing County

The Yerington Lions basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Pershing County Mustangs to 37 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they host North Tahoe for a 2A Northern game on Saturday, February 1.

With the loss, Pershing County falls to 15-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Wells (Wells, NV) to confront the Leopards in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Leopards go into the game with a record of 15-6. Wells won 39-26 in their recent league game against Carlin (Carlin, NV)
