The Weslaco Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears to 25 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 25-8 record. They play next when they host Edinburg for a 6A Region IV District 31 game on Friday, January 31. Weslaco will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 60-21 league win over Economedes (Edinburg, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 20-13.

With the loss, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo falls to 10-18 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Region IV District 31 game on Friday, January 31. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 13-20. Edinburg North won 39-28 in their recent league game against La Joya (La Joya, TX)
