The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN) and the host St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs (Nashville, TN), observed Pope John Paul II's basketball team overwhelm St. Cecilia Academy by a margin of 60-26.
The Knights (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN). The Mustangs come into the Division II-AA Middle challenge with a 19-3 record. In their last challenge, Lipscomb Academy trounced Ensworth (Nashville, TN), 38-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Scarabs battle the Ensworth Tigers (Nashville, TN) in a Division II-AA Middle challenge, on Thursday, January 30. St. Cecilia Academy will attempt to better on its 3-20 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 38-27 league loss to Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN).
