Next, the Wildcats clash with the Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 test, on Friday, January 31. Weslaco East will attempt to improve on its 8-21 season record. The Chiefs come into the test with a 5-24 record after their 43-26 league loss to Pace (Brownsville, TX).

The Cowboys (3-25) will now prepare for their test against Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX). The Hawks come into the 5A Region IV District 32 test with a 25-6 record. In their last test, Harlingen South overcame Donna (Donna, TX), 51-26, in a league test.
