In Tuesday's league test, the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) basketball squad knocked off the host Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), by a score of 54-44.
Next, the Quakers encounter the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a Independent School test, on Thursday, January 30. Sidwell Friends will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 6-10 record after their 46-41 league loss to Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC).
The Panthers (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers come into the DCSAA test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Georgetown Day went down by Maret (Washington, DC), 67-34, in a league test.
