North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant overwhelms Valor Preparatory Academy

The Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Valor Preparatory Academy Owls to 19 in the Stallions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Stallions now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Jackson Day for a 1A Metro 8 game on Wednesday, January 29. Queen's Grant will confront a Mariners team coming off a 73-5 league win over Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Valor Preparatory Academy falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Owls host Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 15-0. Union Academy won 60-27 in their recent league game against North Stanly (New London, NC)
