California High School Basketball - Western succumbs to Rancho Alamitos

In Tuesday's league test, the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros (Garden Grove, CA) basketball squad defeated the host Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA), by a score of 48-38.
Next, the Vaqueros clash with the Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA) in a Orange test, on Friday, January 31. Rancho Alamitos will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Roadrunners come into the test with a 6-17 record after their 26-15 league loss to Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA).
The Pioneers (2-15) will now prepare for their test against Katella (Anaheim, CA). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Katella went down by Fullerton (Fullerton, CA), 49-31, in a league test.
