In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Southeast Spartans basketball team scored a big 42-17 triumph over the Santa Fe South Saints.
The Spartans (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Elgin, OK). The Owls go into the 5A District 1 contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Elgin was trounced by Enid (Enid, OK), 48-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Saints battle the Noble Bears (Noble, OK) in a 5A District 1 contest, on Friday, January 31. Santa Fe South will attempt to better on its 0-18 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 7-9 record after their 53-48 league loss to MacArthur (Lawton, OK).
