In Tuesday's league contest, the host William Tennent Panthers basketball team scored a good 46-38 win over the Springfield Township Spartans.

The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA). The Jems come into the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Villa Joseph Marie defeated Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA), 35-23, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA) in a Suburban One - Freedom contest, on Thursday, January 30. Springfield Township will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 75-38 league loss to Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA).
