In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Temple Academy Bereans basketball team scored a good 36-23 win over the Vinalhaven Vikings.

The Bereans (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carrabec (North Anson, ME). The Cobras come into the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Carrabec defeated Telstar (Bethel, ME), 63-6, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME) in a D South contest, on Thursday, January 30. Vinalhaven will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 46-12 league loss to Temple Academy (Waterville, ME).
