In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team scored a big 49-19 triumph over the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles.
The Villains (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Uwharrie Charter Academy will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.
