The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the La Conner Braves (La Conner, WA) and the host Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), observed La Conner's basketball team overwhelm Orcas Island by a score of 58-16.
The Braves (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Coupeville (Coupeville, WA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Coupeville was routed by Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA), 54-25, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Friday Harbor Wolverines (Friday Harbor, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Orcas Island will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
