Compton Early College Rising Phoenix (Compton, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Ambassador Lions (Torrance, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Compton Early College advances its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Rising Phoenix host Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Firehawks in a Mulholland test on Wednesday, January 29. The Firehawks come into the test with a record of 3-2.

The Lions now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Environmental Charter for a Mulholland test on Thursday, January 30.
