Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) and the host Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), saw Canyon's soccer squad hold off Perryton by a count of 3-2.

The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders enter the 4A Region 1 District 3 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Randall tipped Dumas (Dumas, TX), 9-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Rangers battle the West Plains Wolves (Amarillo, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 3 battle, on Friday, January 31. Perryton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Hereford (Hereford, TX).
