In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Monticello Magic ice hockey team scored a close 5-3 victory over the Princeton Tigers.
The Magic (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison go into the Mississippi 8 contest with a 5-12 record.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Princeton will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Waconia (Waconia, MN).
