The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC) and the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), observed Beddingfield's basketball team knock off Spring Creek by a score of 52-41.
The Bruins (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Eastern Wayne prevailed over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC), 78-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gators encounter the Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Spring Creek will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 53-48 non-league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC).
