The Cape Fear Colts basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Purnell Swett Rams to 49 in the Colts non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Colts now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Douglas Byrd for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. Cape Fear will confront a Eagles team coming off a 55-29 non-league loss to South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Purnell Swett falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to confront the Bears in a game on Thursday, January 30. The Bears go into the game with a record of 4-8. Gray's Creek lost 72-49 in their recent non-league game against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC)
