The Rio Rancho Rams overwhelmed the host Cibola Cougars basketball team by a margin of 73-49 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Rams (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Piedra Vista was trounced by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 80-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Cibola will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Scorpions go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 60-35 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
