In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Connell Eagles basketball team scored a big 76-31 triumph over the College Place Hawks.
The Eagles (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wahluke (Mattawa, WA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Wahluke smashed Royal (Royal City, WA), 49-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Kiona-Benton Bears (Benton City, WA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. College Place will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 85-31 non-league loss to Zillah (Zillah, WA).
