In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Romulus Eagles basketball team scored a close 61-54 triumph over the Crestwood Chargers.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thurston (Redford, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record.

In their next game, the Chargers confront the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Crestwood will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record.
