In their next game, the Buckin' Elks confront the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Elkin will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 59-52 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).
