The Fort Defiance Indians basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 41 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo Gap for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Fort Defiance will confront a Bison team coming off a 57-24 non-league loss to Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Bison record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, Riverheads falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 11-6.
