In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored a big 62-20 triumph over the Gray Stone Day Knights.

The Tigers (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, North Rowan smashed South Davidson (Denton, NC), 85-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Gray Stone Day will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record.
