The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Highline Pirates (Burien, WA) and the host Lindbergh Eagles (Renton, WA), observed Highline's basketball team overcome Lindbergh by a score of 72-59.
The Pirates (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sammamish (Bellevue, WA). The RedHawks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Sammamish dropped by North Creek (Bothell, WA), 71-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Foster Bulldogs (Tukwila, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Lindbergh will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 73-52 non-league loss to Rainier Beach (Seattle, WA).
