North Carolina High School Basketball - Hobbton trounced by North Duplin

The Hobbton Wildcats basketball squad (Newton Grove, NC), was crushed 71-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC)

With the victory, North Duplin advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Rebels travel to Union (Rose Hill, NC) to meet the Spartans in a battle on Wednesday, January 29. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 12-2. Union won 57-46 in their recent league battle against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neuse Charter for a battle on Tuesday, February 4.
