In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Holt Rams basketball team scored a close 63-59 triumph over the Waverly Warriors.
The Rams (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI). The Comets go into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Grand Ledge was tipped by DeWitt (DeWitt, MI), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Lansing Catholic Cougars (Lansing, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Waverly will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record.
