The North Lenoir Hawks basketball squad (LaGrange, NC), lost 49-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC)
With the victory, Southwest Onslow advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Stallions travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to meet the Panthers in a battle on Thursday, January 30. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 12-2. East Duplin lost 56-31 in their recent league battle against Kinston (Kinston, NC)
The Hawks now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kinston for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 29. North Lenoir will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 68-39 non-league win over Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-4.
