In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions basketball team scored a good 63-50 win over the Ursuline Fighting Irish.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Padua Franciscan was topped by St. Edward (Lakewood, OH), 61-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish battle the East (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Ursuline will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record.
