The Buffaloes (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX). The Rattlers enter the 6A Region 4 District 29 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, San Marcos tipped Belton (Belton, TX), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Knights confront the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region 4 District 29 battle, on Friday, January 31. Steele will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 2-2 league Judson (Converse, TX).
