The Pirates now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Center for a 4A Region 2 District 15 challenge on Friday, January 31. Pine Tree will face a Roughriders team coming off a 4-1 league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 5-0.

The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Cardinals come into the 4A Region 2 District 15 game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Sabine defeated Tenaha (Tenaha, TX), 4-0, in a league game.
