In Saturday's non-league outing, the Giles County Bobcats (Pulaski, TN) basketball squad edged the host Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN), by a margin of 58-56.
The Bobcats (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN). The Panthers go into the 2A District 10 outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Lewis County held off Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TN), 60-56, in a league outing.
The Rebels now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Coffee County Central for a 4A District 6 outing on Tuesday, February 1. Franklin County will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 60-46 league win over Shelbyville Central (Shelbyville, TN). The Red Raiders record now stands at 15-7.
