Illinois High School Basketball - Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley overwhelmed by Salt Fork

The Salt Fork Storm basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons to 37 in the Storm non-league victory on Saturday.

The Storm now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watseka for a Vermilion Valley contest on Friday, February 4.

The Falcons (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Knights come into the Heart of Illinois contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Fieldcrest was routed by Olympia (Stanford, IL), 44-38, in a non-league contest.
