Arkansas High School Basketball - Drew Central tops Rison

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Drew Central Pirates (Monticello, AR) and the visiting Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR), saw Drew Central's basketball squad knock off Rison by a tally of 55-40.
With the victory, Drew Central improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Dumas (Dumas, AR) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Region 8 challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-10.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Lakeside Rams (Hot Springs, AR) in a 5A South challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Rison will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record.
