The Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) ice hockey bounced the host Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO), 11-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Lancers now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Mullen for a 4A North battle on Monday, January 31. Liberty will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-10.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the 4A South battle with a 13-0 record. In their last battle, Cheyenne Mountain nipped Kent Denver (Englewood, CO), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
