The Absegami Braves basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Buena Chiefs to 21 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.

The Braves now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Absegami will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 52-35 non-league win over LEAP Academy (Camden, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-10.

The Chiefs (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Vineland (Vineland, NJ). The Fighting Clan enter the Cape/Atlantic - United contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Vineland was routed by Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ), 69-54, in a non-league contest.
