Oregon High School Basketball - Banks can't hold off Neah-Kah-Nie

The Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Banks Braves to 40 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warrenton for a 3A Coastal Range bout on Friday, February 2. Neah-Kah-Nie will play a Warriors squad coming off a 63-46 league win over Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 12-7.
Next up, the Braves play the Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Banks will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Columbians come into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 62-56 league win over Corbett (Corbett, OR).
