California High School Basketball - Bayfront Charter edges Southern California Yeshiva

The Bayfront Charter Sharks (Chula Vista, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Southern California Yeshiva Hawks (San Diego, CA), 42-35 in Monday's non-league test.

The Sharks (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Gompers Prep Academy (San Diego, CA). The Eagles go into the Summit test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Gompers Prep Academy was tipped by High Tech CV (Chula Vista, CA), 90-21, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Preuss UCSD for a Sierra test on Tuesday, January 30. Southern California Yeshiva will encounter a Tritons squad coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 5-19.
