Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN), 83-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Benilde-St. Margaret's upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Red Knights travel to Chaska (Chaska, MN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Chaska lost 79-59 in their recent league bout against Waconia (Waconia, MN)

Next up, the Spartans play the St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Orono will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 77-73 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
