The New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT), 68-62 in Monday's league test.

The Green Wave (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Abbott RVT was tipped by Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT), 51-49, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Masuk for a Southwest test on Thursday, February 1. Bethel will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 60-34 league loss to Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
