In Monday's league outing, the Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN), by a margin of 69-64.

The Warriors (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against North Jackson (Stevenson, AL). The Chiefs go into the non-league outing with a 1-18 record.

The Warriors now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences for a 2A District 4 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Bledsoe County will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 70-56 league loss to Brainerd (Chattanooga, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 7-10.
