Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ), 68-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Pequannock upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Golden Panthers travel to Madison (Madison, NJ) to play the Dodgers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Dodgers go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Madison won 57-31 in their recent league bout against Morristown (Morristown, NJ)

Next up, the Bombers play the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Boonton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 74-47 non-league loss to Vernon (Vernon, NJ).
