The Marvell Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Bradford Eagles to 50 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scott Charter for a 1A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Marvell will battle a team coming off a 51-24 league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, AR). The record now stands at 3-10.

The Eagles (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Brinkley (Brinkley, AR). The Tigers come into the 1A Region 5 contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Brinkley prevailed over Marvell (Marvell, AR), 65-49, in a league contest.
