The Horizon Science Academy Hawks basketball team (Columbus, OH), was nudged 67-62 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Cardington-Lincoln Pirates (Cardington, OH)

The Pirates now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northmor for a Knox Morrow battle on Wednesday, January 31. Cardington-Lincoln will confront a Golden Knights team coming off a 61-44 league win over East Knox (Howard, OH). The Golden Knights record now stands at 12-4.

The Hawks (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Patriot Prep Academy (Columbus, OH). The Eagles come into the United battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Patriot Prep Academy edged Granville Christian Academy (Granville, OH), 61-36, in a non-league battle.
